Pastor Betty Steward I have desires beyond desires to see the healing power of GOD move among His people. Healing is a part of Salvation; it is a part of Kingdom power. It is the Presence of GOD breaking through into our world. As you are teaching, you will feel the realm of the Spirit, which is GOD in your midst. The Word of GOD has healing Presence in it which is there to heal. The Kingdom of GOD has come to that place, when GOD begins to rule over suffering and sickness. As you study and seek Him with all your heart, He will become so real to you . . . . Teach the people to be aware of His Presence. The Presence of GOD is there to do something. What do you need that is in Salvation? Look for GOD to manifest. Expect Him to come on the scene. When you feel Him so strong, stop and invite the people to be aware of Him, and listen for direction. He is going to do something. Begin to sing very softly. Be aware of Him. Tell the people not to offend Him by not paying attention to His Presence. Worship softly - no moving around. We can grieve the Holy Spirit. When you feel His Presence, you are in the realm of the Holy Spirit. Even though He never leaves us or forsakes us, His manifest Presence will come and go. You will be able to sense the moving of His Presence. You received the anointing when you received Jesus and the Holy Spirit. The anointing gets stronger and stronger as you learn of Him. There is an anointing that comes on you like something coming over you. Then you will feel a different manifestation: this will be like the LORD is permeating your being. When you feel the Presence in any way, pray for the sick or minister in the Word - people will be healed even as you are teaching. Always let the people know that the LORD is present. This brings reality to them and faith will rise in them to receive. It is important what songs you sing. Even changing the key of a song can make a difference in the anointing. GOD has not changed. He still heals. He still walks among us. Luke 5:17 says that the Power was present to heal. The word "Power" here means "Presence." In John 14:21, He said He would manifest to us. How? By the Holy Spirit. Jesus is Jehovah saving - in the way that is needed. When I first started to study the Jewish roots of Christianity, I came into an understanding that is wonderful. It brought such a reality. You will find yourself picking up golden nuggets. It's like mining in a gold mine, yet so much more, for this gold brings life. The places you could not understand before become so clear. . . . May you experience His wonderful presence in the fullness that He desires for you. Pastor Betty |
